DailyGrasp Terms of Service
Last updated: June 1, 2026
By using DailyGrasp ("the app"), you agree to these terms. We've kept them short.
What DailyGrasp does
DailyGrasp sends you one AI-generated summary of a Wikipedia article per day, on topics you choose. We try to make the summaries accurate, but they're generated by an AI model (Google Gemini) and may occasionally contain errors. The original Wikipedia article is the source of truth — always check it for anything you'd act on.
Your account
- You may create one account per device (an anonymous account is created automatically; you can optionally link an email).
- You're responsible for keeping access to the email you link (if any). Anyone with access to that email can sign into your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — but we'll explain why before doing so when reasonably possible.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source (beyond what's published in our open GitHub repository).
- Abuse our API (e.g. automating fake accounts, scraping deliveries en masse).
- Use the app for anything illegal in your jurisdiction.
Content
Wikipedia articles are © their respective authors and licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike. We link to the original article in every summary.
AI-generated summaries are produced from those articles by Google Gemini. We don't claim ownership of the summary text itself, but we do not warrant its accuracy. Do not rely on a DailyGrasp summary for medical, legal, financial, or any other consequential decisions — always read the source.
The app's UI, code, design, and brand are © DailyGrasp. The source code is publicly visible at https://github.com/jamesalbuquerque/dailygrasp but you may not reuse the brand or assets without permission.
Pro subscription (when introduced)
If you subscribe to DailyGrasp Pro:
- Billing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), not us. We cannot process refunds — contact Apple/Google directly per their refund policies.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel through your platform's subscription settings.
- Canceling drops you back to the free tier at the end of the current billing period — we don't pro-rate refunds.
- Pro features are subject to change. We'll never remove features without an in-app heads-up.
No warranty
DailyGrasp is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee:
- That delivery will be precisely on time every day (push notifications depend on Apple and Google's services, not just us).
- That the AI summary is accurate.
- That the app will be free of bugs or interruptions.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement).
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, DailyGrasp and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to whatever you've paid us in the past 12 months (which, for free users, is $0).
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes (anything that meaningfully affects your rights) will trigger an in-app notice the next time you open the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR_JURISDICTION — replace before publishing, e.g. "the State of California, USA" or "the laws of Portugal"], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
